I think it’s about time I follow my friends’ lead and actually start posting things instead of just reblogging (mostly from Ina haha). But I don’t know how to use photoshop so I probably won’t be posting any creative pictures with all those quotes. My skills are only limited to Paint. Lame, I know. So that leaves me with text-heavy blog entries which works for me since I love to write. I don’t want to bore you guys though so I’ll try to keep them short and simple. :)

For the longest time I’ve been very secretive about the stuff I write mainly because they’re very personal. I tend to express myself better through writing and I allow myself to be vulnerable when I do. I try to write about every experience, good and bad, major or insignificant, through poems. Not the deep and profound type that needs to analyzed but simple and straight to the point. Like song lyrics. I wish I knew how to play the guitar or something so I can actually turn them into songs! Haha but no, unfortunately I’m not musically-inclined so they remain poems. I have several notebooks filled with poems but I’ve noticed my best/favorite ones were written on random scraps of paper—receipts, tissue paper, torn pages from my notebooks, paper bags, etc. Sometimes I completely forget about them so it’s always fun to randomly come across one. So I’ve decided I’m going to start posting a few of them. I must warn you though, some are quite bitter and angsty and depressing (oh high school…) haha. I’ve posted a couple already before.

Well I guess that’s all for now. This is actually fun! :)
